4 Frequently Asked Questions About Squash Camps Answered
At the International Squash Academy, there is one particular goal that resonates with everyone involved: helping athletes – no matter their age or skill level – to improve their on-court performance and reach new levels of competition. That’s why our squash camps are some of the best around!
Still, it doesn’t matter whether you or your child has been to tons of squash camps or you’re both trying to find the first one to attend, there are going to be questions that must be answered.
Here are four frequently asked questions about our squash camps, along with the answers so you don’t have to wonder what they are!
Q: How long have we been running squash camps?
A: The International Squash Academy was created in 2007. We realized there were a lot of athletes looking for programs to improve, and we consistently bring the game’s top coaches in to provide top-notch instruction. So far, more than 1,500 athletes have participated in an ISA camp.
Q: Is bringing a health form to squash camp required?
A: Yes, it is. Without a properly filled out health form, we can’t allow campers to participate in all the activities we have planned. If you’re attending one of our camps in New York, Connecticut or Massachusetts, your primary physician must sign this form. Also, if any over-the-counter and prescription drugs must be brought to camp, they must reside in their original containers.
Q: Where can I find detailed information such as packing lists, schedules, directions, etc?
A: Well, you’ve come to the right place! Please feel free to look around our website for general details about our squash camps, but you’ll get everything that’s needed and the most accurate information upon registering for one. After registering, you’ll get an email with a confirmation packet that includes every necessary detail, including the health and release forms to be signed (the ones we just talked about). This packet will make its way to you at least 30 days before camp starts.
Q: Ah, registering…that’s a good question. How do I do that?
A: We officially have four different ways to register for one of our squash camps: phone, US Mail, fax or online. We’ll gladly help you in any way possible, but we recommend registering online because you’ll get immediate confirmation after submitting your information. Once you’ve found the right camp, all you have to do is click the “register now” button to begin the registration process.
Did these help answer some of those questions you have about squash camp? We certainly hope so! These are just a handful of the Frequently Asked Questions we have right here on our website to help make this process as easy as possible for you.
