Summer Squash Camp: 3 Options for Serious Squash Players

At the International Squash Academy, we pride ourselves on providing the best squash instruction in the country. This mission starts with who we fill our coaching staff with – which includes some of the best in the sport – to the experience we provide – which allows campers to learn, grow, and form friendships in a fun and positive environment.

Another important aspect of ISA summer squash camps is the fact that we take a personal approach to instruction for each camper in attendance. Our clinics are designed for both boys and girls from ages 10 to 18, and it doesn’t matter what your skill level is, either. Whether you’re just starting out in the sport or are a top high school competitor with aspirations of continuing in college, there’s something available for everyone to see improvements in their game on the court.

This is possible because we intentionally have camper-to-coach ratios as low as 4-to-1 so everyone in attendance can get that one-on-one instruction that will lead to significant growth.

If you’re one of those serious squash players looking for specialty camps to help you take your game to the next level, then ISA has a few options to choose from. Let’s break down the three kinds of specialty camps we have to offer and what makes them different from one another.

Elite Invitational Camp

If your goal is to be a force at squash tournaments both now and into the future, then this is the option for you. These camps are by invitation only and are designed to address the needs of squash athletes who are dedicated to their craft.

The goal on our end is to help campers achieve the highest rankings of their squash playing career to that point, with a focus on things like conditioning, psychology, and squash strategy.

ISA will once again be offering this option over the summer at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut from July 29th to August 1st.

College Showcase Camps

Showcase camps are programs that provide players the freedom and creativity to reach new heights in their on-court abilities. During any given week, 10-15 college coaches will be in attendance to coach the camp teams, motivate those participating, and offer strategy and skill development, while also being available to answer any questions that they may have.

This is an exclusive high school camp, so attendees will have the luxury of playing and socializing with other campers within their own age group, who could end up being teammates or opponents in the future.

Trinity College will also be hosting a Top of the Class Squash Showcase in Hartford, Connecticut this summer from June 26th to June 27th.

Tournament Training

If you’re a junior squash player looking for a change to improve your match-play skills and tournament results, then ISA Tournament Training Camp is the perfect option. They’ll have the chance to train alongside other players who have a similar mindset and motivation, while competing against one another in a fun, constructive and well-organized setting.

Both physical and mental demands of match play will be covered, which will give junior players a worthwhile opportunity to improve their USSquash ranking.
